Max De Angelo, George Garcia and Madison Whyte Champions Mixed 4x400m Relay - Pan American U20 Athletics Championships 2023

Max De Angelo, an incoming senior at Millbrook High in North Carolina, along with Lubbock Christian's George Garcia and recent Heritage High of Virginia graduate and USC commit Madison Whyte teamed with Jack Britt High of North Carolina alumni and South Carolina signee JaMeesia Ford to lead the United States to victory in the mixed 4x400-meter relay in 3:18.07 at the Pan American U20 Championships at Jose A. Figueroa Freire Stadium in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. It marked the first time the mixed 4x400 relay was part of the meet schedule in the 21 editions of the event, which started in 1980. Garcia also contributed to the Americans winning the men's 4x400 relay in 3:05.98, with Whyte also part of the victorious women's 4x400 lineup in 3:30.25. More videos |
